FLS Grad Helps Sandy Victims Obtain FEMA Assistance
Fordham Law School alum Theresa Mohan was featured in the National Law Journal earlier this month for her ongoing work helping Sandy victims apply for assistance from FEMA.
“Even as a lawyer, when I started the FEMA application, I had no idea what it meant or how much money was available. There’s not a lot of clarity to the process as far as what the next steps are, what your rights are and what you’re potentially entitled to,” Mohan told the Journal.
Mohan oversees business contracts for IBM, where attorneys are encouraged to find opportunities to perform pro bono work.
